Manasee Desai is a Vice President at ideas42 where she leads a portfolio of projects focused on the behavioral design and rapid iterative testing of various digital financial solutions internationally. In addition, she also leads the team behind the recently launched website, the Behavioral Evidence Hub (www.bhub.org). Through her work at the Financial Access Initiative, the Centre for Microfinance (CMF), Innovations for Poverty Action, and the Harvard Kennedy School, Manasee has spent over 12 years researching and designing financial services with global banks, microfinance institutions, and Fintechs. Previously, she worked on a number of U.S. political campaigns at the state and national level and dabbled in biochemistry. Manasee holds an MPA from New York University, where she focused on international policy in urban contexts, and a BA from Boston University in Political Science with minors in Economics and Biology.
