Professor Dr. Murali Raman is currently a Professor and Dean of the Management Faculty at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. He obtained his Doctorate in Management Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University, California in 2005. He has worked in the corporate sector with Maybank Bhd and Accenture Consulting, before joining MMU. With Accenture, he managed and led more than 9 different IT projects in Malaysia and Singapore. He was also on the Stanford University’s Technology Venture Program (STVP)—working with STVP to nurture and enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Malaysia. As a coach and trainer for over 15 years, Dr. Raman specializes in three broad areas: Design Thinking and Digital Economy, Leadership Development using Directive Communication using Colored Brain and Emotional Drivers, and Soft Skills Development. He currently trains and consults with several leading companies in Malaysia. Dr. Raman is the only Malaysian who is both a Rhodes Scholar and Fulbright fellow. He has conducted training and consulting on various topics pertaining to management, innovation at the workplace, design thinking and ICT in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Australia, and in the US for notable corporations such as TM, Maybank IBBM Program, Keppel Bank Singapore, TelBru Brunei, among others.
