Neil is a CEO and Co-Founder of Siam Organic Co., Ltd, a social enterprise that was established with a mission to alleviate the problem of poverty among Thai farmers. Founded in 2011, Siam Organic solves the problem of farmers poverty through innovative organic products with a global appeal. Despite being the world’s no. 1 rice exporter, Thai rice farmers are among the lowest earners in ASEAN. Through innovative crop production, organic farm management and microfinancing, the farmers Siam Organic works with are able to earn up to 14 times higher income compared to an average Thai rice farmer. Siam Organic currently works with over 1,000 small-scale farmer households in the Northeastern part of Thailand. It has been recognized globally for its third-party verified social impact, some of the most recent awards that Siam Organic and Neil have won include Winner of the Chivas Venture 2017, a competition to find the best social enterprise in the world from 30 countries and compete for USD 1M prize money as well as the ‘Spark the Fire’ Champion at Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 organized by the US Government in Silicon Valley, USA. Neil has been sharing his passion through his role as a guest lecturer on Social Entrepreneurship at Chulalongkorn University, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and National University of Singapore (NUS). He is a former investment banker from Capital Nomura Securities PCL. He holds a MBA degree from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University, with exchange program at Kellogg School of Management, and Dual Bachelor Degree on Environmental Engineering & Economics from University of Melbourne.
